Recently Trujet was asked to create some artistic etchings out of several different gauge stainless steel sheets as well as a stainless steel precision cutting using our waterjet table.
The American flag was cut out of 12 gauge stainless steel.
Both the “Colorado” picture and the “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima” picture are both waterjet etchings in stainless steel.
The “Colorado” piece is 1/4″ stainless steel and is 10″ x 12″ in size. The “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima” piece is 10 gauge stainless steel and is 18″ x 11″. Both pieces were easily handled by our large waterjet cutting table, which can cut up to 6′ x 12′!
